TV Series

It's fucking shite mate. The mrs watches it all the fucking time. I can't get past the fact that Tommy from Corries is in it.
Mrs Stony has fine taste in detectives.

Hahaha.....that's it. Absolute quality. Watched an old episode where Crabtree is higher in the Masons than Brackenreid, and when he tells Murdoch it's because of the inspectors manner and foul language, Brackenreid says 'what a load of bollocks'.

It's an easy watch. No foul language (apart from bollocks and bloody hell) and the violence is all pretty low impact.

My children love this. It's replaced "say yes to the dress" as essential viewing. I fear for them most days :-(

When I get up on Sat. mornings and turn the telly on it automatically goes to a channel that shows it.
Can't say I've ever paid it much notice tbh.
Now the Beachcombers, that's another story.

Fat ginger Yorkshire ****, played that slappers dad who was shagging the goth

Ahh. He looks different.

I thought you meant the rapey one.

I've been re binge watching Rome. What a fantastic series, and how fucking brilliant is Titus Pullo. One of TV's great characters. Loyal as a puppy, as sentimental as an alcoholic poet, as cunning as Baldrick's most cunning plan, mean as a fucking snake, and harder than Jimharri's cock when he's been looking at pics of Holly Willoughby.

Lethal Weapon re-boot.
Just the right amount of popcorn and cheese to do the films justice. It ain't no Sweeney but enjoyable in a don't take it seriously kind of way.

Damon Wayans is taking some getting used to as the ageing Officer Murthaugh (even if he really is in his 50's, ladies he looks too good)

Mindless pap....I like mindless pap

Dirk Gently's Holistic Detective Agency.

Just on the second episode. Very promising. Totally weird and fucked up.........however, it is based on a Douglas Adams novel.

Is this the Stephen Mangan version? It had the right feel from a baffling book culled from his Dr Who days (and with elements from Shada and City of Death in it)
