Remember the advert with the annoying kid a few years ago? I read an article about him and the hate campaign against him. It was fucking unreal, all the fucker did was star in an advert and look like a twat, but the internet made him out to be the reincarnation of Hitler.
 
Rectify has just finished, a well written, excellently acted, character drama, which I highly recommend, not flash, a fashionable subject matter or a quick fix type of show but a slow burner, which I should imagine will be even better watched binge style.
 


Come across this by accident, I watched 9 episodes on the spin so I'd say its decent.

In my defence it has, Fit Milf/gilf lezzing up, a monstrous ganster murder, weird looking fucker as a romany gypsy godfather,a fit Doctor lady and a bit of the supernatural a....did i mention lezzing up?

Never heard of it. Has it finishes for good? Or just the latest series has finished?

Finished for good, its gone under the radar as its not on any of the big channels, but its got rave reviews from critics for every series, as I said a slow burner full of tense drama. Its about a bloke who is released from death row having spent 20 year on it DNA clears him, he goes back home and has to deal with the fall out.

I just looked at it on IMDB and the "other stuff people that liked this watched" part was full of stuff I like so I'll get it and watch it all at once. Ta.
 
I was watching Designated Survivor, but it's so 'Fuck yeah! USA!' that during one episode I inadvertently vomited out my spleen. So I've been watching less jingoistic Hollywood offerings instead, like The Patriot with Mel Gibson.

xmas movie folder filling as we speak, gonna send some tv to but not sure what outside of comedy classics such as fawlty and blackadder.

Did you put Sense 8 in there and did you watch it? Season 2 starts this month.
