TV series contain seasons.When did series become seasons. That’s more maddening than most programmes out there!
International breaks really do elongate the football series.

As I see it, Strictly Come Dancing is a series currently in its 22nd season. But some other people regard each "season" separately, so they'd probably say Strictly Come Dancing is a TV show with a fresh series in 2020, 2021, 2022, etc.

I never said they shouldn't but it seems that the producers are undertaking a box ticking exercise for its own sake and have been for the last few years. My original point was that the show has become stale.Why shouldn't gay people be allowed on Strictly?
