Thanks g. I just read it and have to say that it's as convincing and impressive a piece of writing as I've ever read on here.

But,I cannot see how Hughes can now be replaced before the window opens and it seems inevitable that focus will then shift to judging him on how we do after whoever he signs comes in.

Personally I was all for Hughes coming because as a young manager he showed with Blackburn he can cut it in the premiership. I have to say some of his selections and tactics has had me baffled and questioning if he was indeed the right man for the job. However, I do believe his signings have been good for the most part and will prove to be better than Sven's long term.

I believe he deserves more time to get things right and am quite certain that he will sign the players that will move us forward in the coming months, which I am afraid is not a team of Galacticos.
