I know what you mean...! I sort of laughed in disbelief.. she doesn't look the sort of person that would do it, you could imagine her baking cakes to sell for animal charities etc.
I'll bet folk that know her are more shocked... I dont get how she strokes it first, it doesnt look like she hates cats or summat or she'd have just ignored it.
Its summat that runs far deeper that that, she just seemed to get the urge to cause something to suffer ... clearly mentally unstable and possibly dangerous.
