As unpalatable as it may seem, It is the Premier manager of the year, I would have bet in March we would finish 4th, We lost to Man Utd Everton and Spurs on the run-in.
Spurs run-in was infinitely harder, particularly as I thought they lacked the Cajones.
They beat Arsenal at home, Chelsea and us away. They have had a major say this year, not only top four but on the Prem title itself.
They are in a Position to finish third. Fulham will not turn up in their last game, and they cannot qualify for Europa unless they win in mid-week.
Their priorities and their ability to attract Ballack, Ireland and don't laugh Joe Cole are geared to winning Europa and taking the next step up them selves.
Hodgson I would welcome at City and to be truthful Redknapp also. I like his faith in British players.
