Two Footed Players

Forlan certainly in the modern era. Going back a few years George Best was superb with both feet. Cruyff too, they used to say was four footed, as he could use the inside and outside of both feet to devastating effect.

My dad often tells the story of playing footy with my brother when he (my brother) was a kid.

I always thought Zola was a great 2 footed player i have seen. I remember reading an article about him (many years ago when he was at Parma) that he didnt know which his best foot was, that he used to hit free kicks with both feet and that he was the free kick taker, when in the team, over Maradonna at Napoli.

pederson at blackburn is naturally right footed but trained his left so much that it became dominant...

Annoys me no end also. Being paid 10's of thousands of £££ a week and can't kick a ball with both feet.

It's hugely noticeable in strikers also, Bellamy being a good example of one that uses both feet. I seriously groan inside when I see some strikers try to hook a ball with their right foot around their left side when just hitting it with the left foot would have been so much easier.

My dad used to teach me with the left foot/right foot passing and whilst I'd never make a professional footballer at least I got to be equally bad with both feet - instead of one bad and one terrible ;-)

Never seen him use his right foot so much as I did yesterday and fair play he had a really good game!!

I noticed yesterday that Jonathan Greening is very much a two footed player if you like. No problem controlling with his right then playing with his left.
Now is it me or do mostly dominant left footers struggle with their right foot? I'm thinking Petrov, Bridgey etc.
Not slagging off just what i've seen and no I don't want us to sign Greening.

Peter Beagrie could hit a pin-point cross and shoot with equally as good with either foot.

It's not that hard to use both feet if you are dedicated enough. Goalkeepers have to use both feet now, so hence they can all kick with them both. It's sheer laziness on a players part if he can't, especially if he makes it as a professional.
