Two great examples of sportsmanship from City tonight

We come from Maine Road, Manchester
Both in the first half:

De Jong was clattered by Mancienne, a clear foul and an almost certain booking as noted by Sky. Yet he was up within a second getting on with the game with no fuss. Not only can Nigel hand out the clatterings but he can also take them, quality to see.

City later broke at pace, Bellamy was challenged in the air by Berra who came down awkwardly and literally fell on his head and lay motionless on the floor. The ball broke for Bellamy who had a chance run on and square the ball into the box. Instead he waved his arms for the referee to stop play and for the Wolves physio to come on to the pitch to assist Berra who looked in a bad way at the time. Of course this didn't stop the Wolves dickheads from booing and singing Sheepshagger every time he touched the ball in the second half.

Glad we won though, I would have been fuming with them otherwise ;)

Excellent post. Hopefully this is something "Bobby Manc" has brought with him. I've never thought much of teams who are graceless, whether they win or lose. If it can be done with a bit of style and class, so much the better.

Jimharri, I think Mancini is bringing these two commodoties to the club by the bucketful... on and off the field.

Hopefully so Scorer. As you well know , I was in the Hughes in camp, and I was disappointed with the way the whole episode was handled. I did comment on here a while back that I thought the owners would get rid of him as they wouldn't be happy with a high mid-table finish. Anyway. Hughes is gone and I give my full support to "Bobby Manc", as I have done with any new manager we've had. It should be interesting these next few months!

Bellamy sounds like a fairly eloquent guy surprisingly. Captain?

No too injury prone for me Barry - he is likely to be a constant in the team always performs reasonably well - Bellars is too injury prone which is a shame because he is an outstanding captain and his post match interview was quality

And then there's that whole gorgeous thing he's got going. Don't want Jose any more.

Dont know who he was but one of the wolves coaches (big black guy) did see what Bellamy did and shook his hand

JUst wish he had scored a goal to ram it down the wolves fans throats to shut the ungrateful bastards up.
