nice work Lord Blue, however I'd rather we beat Arsenal and then Spurs & Villa and Pompey win the F A Cup and get their European spot along with us getting our fourth place finish and everything that'll follow it.

did you see the Arsenal fans comments as posted on here in that other thread from overnight? They're not looking forward to our visit...

Got an Arsenal fan who works for me in the office, he is praying Utd beat Spurs on Sat and we win 1-0 at their place on Sat.
Like he has said they are in the CL and have had an half decent season, the only thing to spoil it would be for Suprs to join them in the CL.

My Arsenal work mate said the same. He doesn't want Spuds near the CL.

Sorry but this is wrong. It totally depends on Uefa co-efficients. This season we had Fulham, Everton and Villa. FA announced this afternoon that they will not put forward Portsmouth as an entrant, remembering they don't need to win the cup 'cos Chelsea are in the CL. This means the third Europa place will go to 7th in the league. IF Liverpool win Europa they automatically qualify (Europa rules are different to CL rules) and therefore the third English spot would go to 8th in the Prem. If Fulham win the Europa then I believe 5th, 6th, 7th would still qualify as the winner does not reduce that country's entrants.

Confused? Maybe, but that's quite accurate if I've got my head round it.
