As I expected the underperforming units have been fucked off and the decent ones retained within the brand.
Interesting the Birmingham Hagley Road one has gone, as that was the first to open in the UK in the ‘80s, but that strip is nowhere where it was at its pomp, and I’m therefore not altogether surprised. Expect it will be a shisha bar before the year is out!
Took a lovely young women there around 1988. I think I mentioned The Smiths once too often and never heard from her again.... no idea why?
