Our club can do no wrong in the eyes of some fans.Always some other fuckers fault ... never ours.It reminds me a bit of Liverpool fans,always the victim ...
 
I remember when our academy was lauded as one of the best when Jimmy Cassel was in charge. We produced a whole raft of players but I think only Barton and SWP had any real success in the first team. I can see why clubs have them but is the outlay worth the end product? Hopefully we will one day see five or six academy players in the first team but I am not holding my breath.
 
All that time effort and money spent on the academy and some prick spoils it

I know other clubs will do it but everyone knows all eyes are on us and people were waiting for any little slip

All the dippers were hopeful we'd get done over the Louie Moulden transfer, that should serve to wipe any premature smirks off their faces at least. Silver linings and all that...
 
Blaming Gill is pointless. In fact, knowing the position Gill holds should have made the club even more prudent than others when it comes to signing youngsters. If we give the authorities an opportunity clamp down on us they are going to take it. It's up to us to get our ship in order, no one else.
