A Big thank you to Txiki Begiristain from me, He can leave with my blessings because of all the great work in building Manchester City into a Major club, It will sort of go unnoticed outside of the club, but he's a major part of the machine and got Pep to come and the rest is history,

I doubt Khaldoon will leave because he’s not really here day to day.

This is one of a dozen massive jobs he has, he’s mostly a figurehead.

AFAIK He’s not really able to get any higher up in UAE politics without being a royal, so I suspect he’ll be here for the foreseeable.

Txiki was never the best actual director of football. He was one of the ingredients in creating the optimal environment for Pep to live and work in. That’s what we’re going to miss (assuming Pep stays)

The best case scenario is that Pep stays and is energised by the new DoF’s ideas and his juices get flowing.
