Txiki Begiristain to leave role at end of season

Txiki has come out and said the place needs a fresh set of eyes and energy. Our recruitment has not been the greatest, but we also don't know who we have tried to get and have been turned down. There are clubs who refuse to deal with is. I also feel some players maybe reluctant to commit with whats happening outside of football.

Lets hope the RAGs don't try and nick Viana now they have sacked Ashworth.
Our recruitment has been excellent , everyone signs the odd dud but we get rid of them quickly . The new batch are still settling so too soon to say about them , he has on the whole been fantastic and he brought pep here

Sacked Ashworth? Didn't know that. He's been doing great so far.

"Mutual agreement" but he only started on the 1st of July so god knows. Perhaps he was disappointed that they only had rich tea biscuits for elevenses. Given they had a long conversation about whether to get rid of Ten Bob before giving him a new contract and then promptly sacking him they've become the gift that keeps on giving.

The reasons Palmer left have been done to death and I'm not arsed revisiting it but Bobb is a superior player.
Possibly the most ridiculous comment I’ve seen on here for a long time.

Bobb is 21 and has scored 1 Premier League goal ! A couple of good games in meaningless pre season games before his injury has caused some to lose their minds on here.

Losing Palmer was a monumental fuck up by City. Easy with hindsight. But he’s head and shoulders the best player in a Chelsea team that will challenge for the title this season.

If people think he left cause he wanted more money or playing time then why not - his goals and assists are up there with any other player in Europe - we pay Grealish £300k per week and Palmer has scored more this season that Grealish has in 3 1/2 years.

Played 5 games less than Palmer and scored one more goal.

Palmer is having a purple patch - suited to the way Chelsea play and he has pretty much a free role - we wouldn’t adjust our play and set up for him as frankly he isn’t that good - there was absolutely no outcry for him to be in team when we had him - hindsight is a wonderful thing and let’s be honest people though Sterling was a World beater at one point

It would be interesting to see how Palmer does against low block sides. I am not sure he has the overall quality to do so in open play. Spurs like to attack and like to leave gaps which is an ideal game for Palmer. In even our recent defeat we still had plenty of chances.

Oscar Bobb. Our latest prospect we are looking to mould into a first teamer who looked promising before his freak injury.
