City are still flogging tickets £160 .including a meal .coach & match ticket .thought even at that price they would have gone by now
i wish i had £160 to spare on a game of bloody football

I just wish I had £160

we did it the other year, only because someone was paying for us.It was basically a posh fry up in one of the suites in the stadium then a coach to and from the swamp,oh and you got a programme!

They did something similar for Blackpool away.
It stinks, but the price of progress and meeting the FFPR regs I suppose. We have to boost income and turnover.
I've been offered a place in a box full of rags at the swamp.
Told them I would rather be one of Fritzl's offspring than spend a few hours imprisoned in a glass coffin with plastic wurzel and cockney gobshites wearing N'arch scarves

To be fair i think they do Packages to all away games .They probably just advertising this as they have not flogged all the places

Sounds thrilling, a meal in an empty stadium followed by a few mile coach trip. I'm searching for my credit card as we speak!

City do this for every away game, most games it is in a restaurant near the ground. Did this for the derby last year, get a brunch in the stadium, coach to the swamp and tickets right on the front line of the away end. Good fun as a one off, they will sell them.

Isn't the meal off site somewhere so you still get the atmosphere with an ordinary seat. And IF that is the case then they could have just sold them as ordinary tickets.

As it's a 12.45 kick off I think 'd find it a bit early to ram down a 3 course meal, unless it means it's 3 items (sausage, bacon and egg) and it's called breakfast.

The whole thing seems very strange and just a money making exercise. That's modern football unfortunately. Can't imagine the seats are in the Utd section so I assume they're normal away seats.

Yeh, pretty sure the tickets are with the normal away fan allocation.

It's not £160, read the small print 'cos it's £160 plus VAT = £192.
That's about a third of the price of my season ticket so I've decided to fuck it off this year and watch it in the pub for a change . . keep being tempted to pull out my credit card and pick up the phone though!
