As I've said on the thread about the FA Youth Cup final... we are winning a lot of tournaments and at least making finals throughout the age groups. The u21s could reach one, the u15s have done, the u18s did and the u13s have won one too. There are players playing above their age group and the constant message is that technique is the most important element, physical side of things will come later... we've got it spot on. It's basic, it's obvious but it works and it will be exciting to see these players emerge over the next 3-5 years. We'll have some cracking talent who have benefitted from top coaching and top facilities.
Also great to see the player of the tournament taking after his grandfather.... how amazing would it be to have Tommy Doyle following in Mike's footsteps one day!
