Tuesday morning at 11am our u19s/EDS side play away at Villarreal, it's on City+ let's hope it runs more smoothly than the game against the dippers...

Unless you're in Spain and you're somehow able to get yourself a ticket, then City+ is meant to be the only way to watch the game worldwide.

Will be interesting to see if we can get back into this in the second half. That was a poor first half performance across the pitch. Need to be much better with and without the ball. Thought we would win this one fairly comfortably.

Definitely not impossible to comeback here but we need to cut out mistakes.

I've put a direct line between the team to highlight something I feel has been a weakness for the EDS and u18s this season...

Does anybody else feel that the team is too heavily focused on attack that it actually lacks a proper balance, we seem to keep deploying a front 5 almost and although it has worked in games I feel it leaves us vulnerable and is a big reason for our defeats at youth level, if you put someone like Miles or Fapetu alongside Gray then surely we've got more control of our midfield while protecting our defence.

It's just an observation but it feels like one of Oboavwoduo or Sangare shouldn't be playing here, the team is already heavily stacked of pure attacking talent and there's no need to do this it needs more balance.

It's like the first team not having a Kovacic or Gundogan type next to Rodri in previous years, we're trying to do too much with attacking players for me it's too gung ho, maybe I'm overthinking it a bit but I've even thought it before some of our other games have even kicked off.

I agree with what you're saying. We have seen the first team play with Rodri and then 5 more attack minded players, but all of them were capable of keeping the ball so it never left us as vulnerable in transition. Our attacking players in that side want to take people on and when they lose it we're vulnerable.
