Their ages were actually pretty much equal, Roma had 1x16yo(the late sub who's 17 in a couple of weeks), 5x17yo & 8x18yo. City fielded 7x17yo & 7x18yo.

I thought Tosin was, but he had a birthday last week.

At the young ages even 6 or 9 months makes a difference. The difference between a player who has just had his 17th birthday to one who is almost 18 can be significant.

The age argument may be generally right but taking yesterdays game into account it makes Tosin.s performance even more impressive. He looks a find.
