The U19s starts their Youth League campaign vs Lyon on Wednesday at 1pm. Really look forward to this one, and I have big expectations for the team. Reached the semi final last year with a very young team (mostly 17 year olds, Foden and Diaz did not feature in the knockout stages). Narrow 5-4 defeat against Barcelona, who later won the competition. Lorenzo Gonzalez (City striker) got a red card after 20-30 minutes, and despite playing most of the game 10 vs 11, we were close to reaching the final. Plenty of the U19s players has trained with the first team and has probably improved a lot the last year. Bernabe and Gomes are new, and will be good additions. Garcia seems to be recovering from an injury and is unlikely to play, and Bolton may miss out after recovering from injury as well

1-0 Lyon. Our right looks as good as Mendy when it comes to defending. The team aren't playing bad but Lyon are far bigger and stronger

Hopefully this is not what they normally play like. They look a far inferior team to what they have looked in the previous years in this competition

Keep pulling shirts referee is always going to give a free kick. Been pretty larthargic slow on the ball.

Hoping to see something from Bernabe during this match. First time I've watched him but he's just played it very safe so far.
