U19's Youth League (1500hrs)

Oh come on,the occasional super talent will emerge irrespective of the set up.I'm not saying our coaches aren't capable of doing a decent job but they should be the very best and not just mediocre/run of the mill types.I just feel we could be getting more from these kids, especially as a collective.
To be slightly fair to this level, 2 of our first team bench tonight are missing from this squad, which is great, that will be far better for them, but I'm sure they'd make a huge difference to that squad, but they're too good for it.

Its not, that scoreline hugely flattered them in the 1st leg.

Regardless,it seems,quite unbelievably,for an academy like ours......that despite changes......we still haven't got the coaching/management set up sorted.

I think we generally play a year under. The U19 is basically U18 for us, I think, and this season it has showed. We've been muscled out in most of the games I've seen this season at The Academy.

It is a real shame that academy football in this country doesn't follow that in Spain. It is an ideal place for a manager to learn the system and then step up to replace Pep but there's such a gulf it would be a silly call to replace him with an academy coach as you see happen in Spain and Germany.
