I've been to Yorkshire & it wouldn't be in my top 10 holiday destinations either.

I went in 2009 after winning flights on a rival forum for the City friendly, was hot & busy but nice for a couple of nights probably due to the football & silver service BBQ the club put on.

Would I take Mrs Moon? Probably not for a full holiday but a day on a cruise yes I would spend a day there.

I can name at least 10 better holiday destinations just from places I've been to! Great place to live but not somewhere I'd ever choose to go on holiday (unless visiting friends/family that live here)
