UEFA are at it again

I have been lucky to go to a number of our away "champions league" games and have enjoyed great times with fellow City fans. However, there have also been a small number of so called "fans" who seem bent to cause trouble often to fellow City fans. I wasn't at the game in Kiev but if this incident is true and an internal investigation can determine who climbed this fence and there was no reasonable reason for doing so (eg safety) then the club should ban him/her for life. Simple!
When we attend away matches we have a duty to represent the club by behaving properly. It's a responsibility we should not abuse. This has nothing to do with UEFA and everything to do with behaving properly whilst enjoying the occasion Rant over

Banned for life for climbing a fence? Get a grip.

One of the best things about City away games, past and present, is everyone not behaving and being nightmares

I genuinely can't tell if you're being serious or just joining in now? A life ban for getting a bit giddy after a goal?

What if the act had been the instigation for further trouble from officials or other fans and someone had got injured? If it was "just a bit giddy" and a bit of fun, no problem but if it was loutish behaviour then serious action should be taken. Maybe get the person to own up and pay the fine.

If you're worried about someone getting injured, then UEFA should look into the organisation of getting people into the stadium. It was a joke. There was a kind of outer perimeter with no segregation where you had your ticket scanned but the scanners seemed to be hit and miss and it was so slow getting through. There was a lad in front of me I thought was going to have a panic attack because of the crush and it was very dangerous. I was concerned for my own safety and I'm a big lad. I can only imagine what it must have been like for kids and older people getting in. I don't know if it's like that for every match or it was a one-off but it needs looking at and these stadia need to be fit for the purpose of hosting big matches.

Fuck me, life ban for hedge-hopping..

it was probably the Russians posing as City fans, we all know how they let to get over into places that they think are their's

Is "giddy" becoming the acceptable term for behaving like an infantile prick? Bit like calling someone a fat lazy scrounging **** a bit of banter?

Cat o'nine tails and a £60 fine should suffice!

Did he actually climb over the fence ? I have heard that in true Uefa tradition he was merely sitting on it.
