The PL will only act if the final judgement wherever and whenever that might be goes against City.

If City win and seek damages it could finish UEFA, the PL won't want to go the same way.

Given that most of the people at UEFA seem hellbent on destroying English football (backed up by clowns like Tebas) the Premier League would be fools to dance to UEFA's tune. The biggest threat the Premier League faces at present is an expanded CL.
