That’s one way of looking at it. I’m fairly sure Platini himself has said putting ffp in was the only way he could break the g14 though.

In terms of the investigations, I really don’t have a problem with any of them. Given the emails that have been leaked, it would have been negligent of any of them not to at least investigate to be completely honest. I really do think very little will come of it though as there’s only so much that they can actually look at.

I thought the statement from the club was absolutely perfect too. It was strong enough to suggest “we’re willing to go as far as you want with this this time” and I highly doubt Uefa will be able to find much at all, given they can’t look to far into the money trail.

Ethically is a different story though and I’m a bit more undecided about that. I’d have rather the club fought the principle more in the first instance or just knowingly failed it completely, although I get why they didn’t.

Remember, Platini's proposal was to regulate debt. The G14/16 rejected that (wonber why?).

Historical isn't it. I think if you heard it from the City angle you might think differently. All we've heard so far is a non-stop barrage for about 5 years about City cheating.

If you hacked any institution you would find wrong doing.

Not really. We are under siege and it’s imperative that the whole Club (that’s including the fans) stick together.

The decade since the Sheikh took over has been amazing and there are more great times ahead as long as people keep their nerve and get behind the Team.
