I have always thought this was something heads at City should roll for. We may not be guilty of cheating but we are guilty of incompetence. When you recall how Garry Cook lost his job (email jokes about a players' mum who had cancer) and then the Der Spiegel leak shows another one of our Execs joking about the death of a UEFA Exec member. One thing I do know about big legal battles is that deep down most of them are very personal.
Definitely incompetence in our administration/operations. Remember, we are also guilty of 3 ‘doping offences’ in the public’s perception. We know thIs was sloppy admin, but add this to the Cook Email and the hacking of our system by Liverpool and then this current shitstorm (again following another hacking of our IT operation)... beggars belief.

A few 'Swales out' chants and a couple of PET pint glasses thrown towards the main entrance hardly constitutes a riot.

Always remember club representatives peeping out of those small windows at the front looking in at the abuse below. I shouldn’t say it but we were passionate in those days, we are so good in adversity.

The Sheikh should charter his private jet to the campus and hold a meeting with Khaldoon and all the management and players. Offer Pep a kings ransom £500 million to stay and sign a 5 year extension. Then get Kevin in, Bernardo, LaPorte, Sterling, Aguero, Jesus, Sane, etc and offer each of them a personal fortune to extend their contracts and commit to Manchester City. Then make a public announcement live on Sky TV. Could you imagine a panel sat there at the Etihad with the Sheikh, Khaldoon, Tixi, Pep and De-Bryne . Invite the worlds press and our own gutter media. With Khaldoon doing all of the talking "On behalf of Manchester City Football I would like to announce that Pep and all of the senior management and our most treasured players have ALL signed lengthy extensions to their contracts. From our owner Sheikh Mansour down to our loyal supporters we are all fully aware that since the takeover "OUR" club has not been made welcome at the top table. We are all aware that the established elite do not want Manchester City Football Club sat alongside the established cartel and we are all aware that FFP was introduced not to help the smaller clubs from financial ruin but to prevent clubs like Manchester City from evolving and challenging for major honours. Well we stand before you today to announce that Manchester City are going nowhere !! NOWHERE !! . We will take this as another pinch "and actually laugh" we will take whatever ban but when we come back we will be even stronger than ever before ! Thank you UEFA you have united our club and our fanbase like never before ! You can now go away and write your stories gentlemen. Pep then speaks "I would like to thank HRH Sheikh Mansour, he has treated me like a son and has made me the most amazing offer to stay at this wonderful football club. I may even stay for life, sorry guys we know this is not what you wanted to hear. Khaldoon then closes by saying "As a football club we have been the most courteous to all the worlds sporting media but from today we will be handing out life bans to any journalist who we find to have not respected Manchester City football club.

Could he end with "now fuck off" or in arabic - تبا

I should have said that unless CAS overturns the ban after ruling on it then we won't feature in the following seasons CL. What I was asking was if we have any other means of delaying any ban pending another legal challenge (I highly doubt it).
If there isn't then presumably we are looking at potentially years of litigation and only a retrospective overturning of any ban and damages.
Yes, if CAS don't overturn the ban then presumably the ban kicks in the following season.
Some speculation in posts above that if we took the matter further to the Swiss court to challenge the legality of FFP then UEFA could chose to defer the ban until there is a ruling otherwise they could face damages.

Is there a possibility that uefa have hit us with massive sanctions knowing that 1) we will challenge the decision and have it reduced and 2) know that we will fight further and have it recinded so that they can say well we tried lads, did our best but the big bad beast threatened us.

There’s that, plus also the rumours that Ceferin was trying to negotiate a lesser punishment when he turned up for our CL game, but City apparently said no chance. That could’ve provoked UEFA into issuing a harsher punishment than was previously being reported.

50/50 i would say,in other words no-one knows as EUFA have documents they said they would make public only if we didn't go to CAS now,we don't know what that is or whst we have on them, thats my reading anyway and i've read every post @pudge
UEFA said they would or won't make some things public dependant on whether or not we appeal?

More fool them. Uefa haven't got a leg to stand on. We'll annihilate them.
