I would love to see the club play the home leg against Madrid and take the opportunity to show our contempt of Uefa, I would refuse to play their shitty little jingle, offer the Uefa delegates the absolute bare minimum of hospitality and refuse to undertake any post match press conferences.

No doubt we would be fined for these actions but it would be great to see.

I would write and advise them not to attend due to fears for their safety given the tendency of Mancunian folk to react strongly when treated unfairly by corrupt scum.

La liga President Javier tevas is overjoyed at city's punishment and Rodney marsh thinks our owners will walk away. Unbelievable Jeff

I've said elsewhere, it would be great if we had a "technical issue" and the anthem started to get slower and slower before dying completely midway through, a bit like when the batteries died in your Sony Walkman

We need a reworking of the 35 years and we're still here song we used to belt out in defiance when we won fuck all. I'm sure it can be tweaked to take in our present predicament.
UEFA’s bent but we’re still here doesn’t sound right.

If I may ask a question to someone who is far more knowledgeable than I, and I apologise if this briefly slows this juggernaut of a thread.

The club said the relevant accounts were a matter of relulatory record as they had been passed by Companies House etc.

If **** say we have bent the rules, could we see a regulatory investigation by say, the SFO being undertaken?

If not, surely **** don't have a leg to stand on at CAS???
City have not done anything that would merit that type of investigation The accounts are audited by a respects firm and published in full UEFA have charged us in their kangaroo court of have broken their regulations, these were designed to protect their cartel of clubs

Not me but I've seen someone say that wouldn't make their findings public if we appealed. But if we appeal they'll have to presumably so somewhat self-defeating and again suggests they aren't sure of their ground.
I could be wrong, but my reading of that threat is that they wouldn’t make public the evidence, and I don’t think an appeal to CAS requires public disclosure. However, if we take the appeal further and/or mount a case against FFP itself, the evidence will have to be made public unless sealed by the court officials presiding.

The fact that they made that assertion in the first place, though, tends to make one believe they aren’t entirely confident that the evidence for their decision is sufficient and/or comprehensive within the context of statutory review. I know from a few reports about UEFA’s concerns with the Galatasaray CAS appeal there is a contingent within the organisation that don’t believe FFP would stand up to scrutiny if framed as illegal restriction of trade and investment.
