The Telegraph yesterday found an 'expert' lawyer who claimed that as City had misled the players, the players could argue that (if the ban is not overturned) their contracts with City are null & void ... and so simply declare themselves free agents and join another club for free.

Clearly this would completely ruin the club we all love overnight, and can only assume / hope that this kind of thing is scaremongering / wishful thinking by our haters, of the highest degree ?

so all our players have clause that if City don't get into champions league there contracts are null and void !

As I assume, one of the tasks of CAS panel will be checking out the consistency of UEFA's decisions regarding similar cases

we are operating in the dark here as AFAIK no one beyond the parties have seen either the IC or AC decision.

I’d been assuming these are based on the links. Eg we settled with you on a basis and you lied about that.

My main concern was the effect any PL FFP penalty might have? Not sure if it would be a point deduction this season or next?
