Irrespective of whether the journos are correct or opinion on here assuming worst case scenario. I find it hard to contemplate that given the ownership and the gold standard way MCFC operate these days and the unbelievable way the club has progressed in the last decade. Assuming" we are guilty that this has been allowed to happen?
How on earth can someone employed by us not know the rules? How on earth can a slick organisation like us irrespective of the agenda against us allow anything like this happen now?
We should be smarter we should be wiser.

Hasn't the FA been punished by FIFA also regarding this? And we got the ok from them regarding the youth players?

I've no idea mate
I'm just sick of the mud slinging and agenda makes me wanna give it all up.

The same veron that united spent £24.5m on 2 years earlier ? That's hardly "inflating", I'd call it serious deflation.

They signed Ruud van Nistelrooy that same summer too for about £19 million.

I get his point to an extent but it could be argued that when it comes to multiple big money signings in one small period of time then United were the pioneers of that with their spending spree in the summer of 1989. And that was despite them finishing 11th the season before - 2 places below where City finished the season before our current owner bought the club.

That doesn't contradict my point at all. I didn't say Chelsea and City were the only people to ever do it, I'm sure it's happened dozens of times over the last 150 years.

Really impressive how you managed to completely miss the point, as per.
Did I ?

My issue is you pretending united didn't/haven't inflated transfer prices, they have regularly, and by considerably more than we have ever done, and they have decades of history of doing it as @M18CTID pointed out also.
