The CAS statement today says we are banned for the next two seasons “for which we qualify”

First I’ve heard of this? I thought we were specifically banned for the 20/21 and 21/22 seasons?

That is indeed strange and surprising, not what was reported before, including UEFA's own statement

Liverpools ban was dropped down twice following appeals to what they eventually got.

Obsurd they only did an extra year, whilst clubs like everton lost out big time around the time.
I fkin hated them, I hated our govn for bending over for UEFA and helping us get banned, everyone was impacted and football fell behind in this country for a number of season. I despise LFC for that shite

Yes thanks, that's what I wanted because it was claimed to show CAS described the UEFA Adjudicatory Chamber as 'independent' in some way - which is clearly absurd.
UEFA describe it as independent, of course. As you know, that's UEFA (i.e. the Executive Committee consisting of Gill, Agnelli etc) describing the CFCB (i.e. members elected by the Executive Committee) as independent.

Here's how UEFA clarify its independence ...

Article 6 – Independence of the CFCB
The members of the CFCB are independent. They are bound exclusively by the UEFA Statutes, rules and regulations and the law.

Don't trust none of it's members or any word that comes from its PR

The fact is UEFA and its cabal don't want the apple cart rocked or have it threatening their stature within the game, and they utterly despise what our owner has done to both our club and surrounding logistical area in Manchester.

Just a couple of former colleagues said he was a "horrible bastard"

Can't fault his take on Uefa.

Hahaha, 'horrible bastard' - didn't beat round the bush, did they? Well, I always found him to be quite amiable - could tell he had a temper on him, but then so do I. Maybe everyone thinks I'm a horrible bastard, too. *starts worrying*

Exactly. How an organisation can call its investigatory division independent when it chooses its members and ties them to its own rules is Putin-esque.
