Don't think the club has ever disputed authenticity, just that they have been presented out of context. I'm guessing at worst they will show intent/motive. Proof of financial wrong doing will still have to be found in the accounting trail. Finding an email saying you are going to kill someone who later turns up dead might make you a suspect, but it doesn't prove your the murderer.I'd have to look at the emails rather than the contents of them to know, but if the emails used a DKIM signature like many do then they are cryptographically authenticated. We couldn't deny the authenticity without inventing a new branch of maths which I fear may be beyond even our great club.
