I'm not aware of any journos sitting on a massive expose.

The only way I could see it being the case, is if The Times or FT have been promised it by City at a time of our choosing.

Personally, if we have dirt on our rivals, I don't see any gain relying on the UK media to report it.

Airing it in court makes it legal and opens it up to the world.

Yep, spot on.

I don't see how it's not in City's interest to request a suspension of the ban pending their investigation.
Could it be that City is so sure of winning that they use this as a way of putting more pressure on UEFA? The amount of damages we can sue them for will just get bigger, and furthermore UEFA should be more motivated to get this resolved ASAP.

Probably cos we want it sorted ASAP so our transfer dealings and potential new sponsorships can continue without this distraction

This thread reminds me of that Aviva add where the woman is interrogating the bloke on if his door lock conforms to BSA standards. He frustratingly shouts, "I don't know!! Nobody knows!!!" I fear the same applies here, though a lot appear to know the answers, do they?

I know.
