I've been wound up like a coiled bed spring thinking about the possible outcomes of this pillowcase. I have therefore decided to no longer give a sheet and worst pillowcase scenario happens I can stick my head under the covers and pretend it never happened. I'd be made up though if we got off.

1 question Please

If clear of all wrong doing can we then sue the shit out of anyone who calls us cheats & money talks blah blah.

Can we stop all shit spreading in the press after the music has been sung?
Agree with City_Sean. We won't be suing anyone and we won't even ban anyone.

Nevertheless some 'journalists' and media organisations have made themselves personae non gratae by their conduct towards Manchester City and our fans over the last couple of years (and more in respect of some). Boycott them. There's plenty of football fans capable of better, so why subscribe to opinion less informed than your own? What do you learn after reading Jamie Jackson in the Guardian? City fans attitude towards the media should change. Make your own. This is the age of the Internet. You don't need to work for Murdoch, or some billion dollar investment trust to express your view (although if it comes to politics you'd better be very careful).

I agreed with most of that but not your concluding remarks. I don't get how we are able to hold CAS to account. You think anyone will go through the fine detail and question a guilty verdict? City and the fans would but objections would be considered squealing and there'd be no audience for this argument.

It is not us holding CAS to account. It is CAS holding themselves to account. If CAS were to produce an error-strewn determination then their credibility as an independent arbitration body comes under severe scrutiny. The press in this country and rival fans may not care, at the sort of level at which most of us operate. It is what sports lawyers and other athletes/teams that have to go through CAS will take from the verdict that matters more to CAS. Our appeal determination will not just be read by City, the fans and UEFA. It will be read by other CAS members who weren't selected for this case, barristers and members of professional legal bodies. It is a high-profile case with much at stake for one of the parties. Surely you can see how it is much more open to scrutiny than a UEFA decision which nobody outside of UEFA and City has had the "privilege" (I use the term loosely) of reading.

Where's Grealish going to play?? He isn't better than what we already have.
Possible cover for de Bruyne as he gets injured often and may yet pack up if things go wrong at CAS. Or even a cover for gundogan/fern who are around or over 30 now.
