If you play it backwards he admits to being the mole at the club for UEFA.

I see which generation you’re from. That dates you...

;-)

(We did all that shit, and if you want to, you can hear John saying “I buried Paul”. Just as you can see Pep thinking, “So... how am I going to set the lads up away at York?”)

They just know a lot of Kev's current contract is weighted against participating in the Champions League.

Irrespective, aside from the verdict, the biggest thing I am looking forward to is Pep's promise to give his views on it.

Dynamite.

I'm certain we have had a positive result.

What promise is that, was it said in public?

Wish I had given this place a swerve now after such a good result.

I've been supremely confident about our CAS chances but plenty are coming out the woodwork to basically clarion call the doubt demons.

It's my birthday tomorrow too. Bastards.

Damn you body language experts and eternal pessimists!
Happy Birthday Dude!

There was one line in this article which I found a little odd. https://www.mirror.co.uk/sport/football/news/pep-guardiola-given-assurances-man-22302752

"Guardiola has insisted he will honour the final year of his contract regardless of the outcome. But that stance was based on assurances from his employers that the case against the club is flawed before the verdict was handed down."

Most likely it's journalistic shenanigans, but any chance it's based on something Pep has said? Bigging up the reassurances sounds hopeful, but if you want to look like the good guy when you leave, then maybe that's what you'd do whatever the outcome?

He has since said, multiple times, that he will see out his contract (at least), no matter what, regardless of the outcome, etc etc. The only way he goes is if the club sack him, repeatedly said that. Doesn't get ant clearer.

Any journalist speculating otherwise is embarrassingly full of shit.

You are seemingly intent on only looking for any negative signs, this is what's known as confirmation bias(others may simply call it flapping). You were doing that at least as far back as June by the looks of it.

Other people watched the same interview(myself included) and wondered just what you think you were seeing. I think you should just calm down a bit and wait for the outcome.

I'm staying neutral, there's no softening the blow if it's upheld, so there's really no point convincing yourself you know it's been upheld beforehand. I also don't want to get too certain about it being squashed either, as even if we are innocent and they haven't proven otherwise, it's not always enough in this day and age.
You obviously missed the way Otto kept kicking the ball into the stands in frustration. A sure sign we are fucked. ;-)

Think the club will find out Friday tbh, doubt CAS would drop the news during the weekend.

I personally not so secretly think they found out sometime shortly after the date was announced.

Hopefully around the time pep's positivity noticeably increased publicly.
