I see which generation you’re from. That dates you...

;-)

(We did all that shit, and if you want to, you can hear John saying “I buried Paul”. Just as you can see Pep thinking, “So... how am I going to set the lads up away at York?”)
On the plus side, the loyalty points argument will be redundant, what with Yorks generous ticket offerings, what was the last allocation about 3 million?

It is in their rule book. They definitely let both parties know before. That is not debatable at all.

How far in advance, that is.

In their procedure, they say the three judges recommend the outcome, the president decides it. And then it states that they notify both parties. So, if you wanted to, which i do, you Could read into that that both parties know as soon as the president signs the decision. Which, again, i want to, would coincide with CAS releaskng the date the decision will be made public. Which, happens to coincide with a burst of bravado reported around the club, by pep and behind the scenes.

That of course is pure speculation (fucking contagious this positivity optimism malarkey isnt it). But the fact that they let both party know in advance is in fact, de facto and ipso facto, a fact.
You say the 3 judges recommend the decision and then the President DECIDES, that implies he could go against any decision the judges made. Surely that is wrong

This has got my confidence up. Chances are UEFA and City know by now then. I know City would keep a lid on the outcome if we won and UEFA would be leaking the info if they'd won, so the fact its ultra quiet is extremely good news to me

My confidence is that Pep surely wouldn't be making reference to next seasons competition if we had lost? He would look a bit of a clown if he was talking about points needed to qualify, if he already knew we were banned.

The 2 judges make the decision and the head will have the final say/vote if they are split.

My reasoning was when Chelsea won it in 2012 spurs didn’t qualify despite finishing fourth as Chelsea finished outside top 4.

They changed rules after that, spain had 5 teams the following year, when Sevilla qualified

The judges may disagree, he takes a view and final decision, that is how it is put. I had the same thought. Think with a majority i doubt there would be an issue.

Who would you replace the two of them with, out of interest? Even assuming we Could get 300m for them, which we wouldn't.

edit: (please dont say sancho. or mbappe, he mutters)

Saha could do a job for City from Palace

Could we entice Haaland or Kane?

Kdb is harder to replace obviously but we could build around Foden. Asking a lot right now but with the right players around him it can be done.

When you say we will not get £300m, why?

If people want them they should pay or we keep them. They are on good contracts.

It is all up in the air until Monday
