I've said that all along about arsenal. Fans always quick to make oil money comments and go on about being well run and showing financial restraint - while they basically stayed afloat by pulling our pants down and taking plenty of the 'oil money' for some less than excellent players.

Arsenal get plenty of 'oil money' from their stadium and shirt sponsorship by state owned airline Emirates. This has been running since 2006 and has been extended to 2024. The last extension in 2018 is worth £200 million alone. Still waiting for gooners to have protest marches against 'dirty arab oil money' demanding UEFA take action and ban them from the, er, Europa League..

According to Le Parisien, QTA contract has not been renewed. It would be consistent with the demands of UEFA to terminate the contract. Let's see if it stops people crying about PSG and FFP.

Some ITK, however, said that this contract would change form and would be renewed with a 20 % decrease compared to last year value.

I'm sick and tired of hearing this dirty 'Oil Money' jibe, especially from a team with Emirates written all over every
fucking thing in sight, the hypocritical arseholes. The Dippers, obviously, are the main culprits, conveniently disregarding their
eager grabbing of Littlewoods pools cash, maybe we should tell them to 'Gamble Responsibly.'

The sang froid from City following Areswipes failing FFP would be a site to behold. Wengers lengthy diatribes of Petroldoolars and Financial doping revealed for what they truly were - an gold standard example of being hung by ones own petard.

Arsenal TV would be epic in the aftermath of recrimination following such a disclosure.

If only Carling did Financial Fair Play.

Interview with Kieran Maguire - football finance man from Liverpool University. Tailored for Liverpool fans.

He highlights City's commercial income and compares it to Liverpool and Man Utd:

"Manchester United have got £276m worth of commercial income, Liverpool have got £154m, but Manchester City are £232m", but neglects to say that City have won repeated trophies in the recent past, and no doubt Liverpool's commercial income will now surge too that they have won the Champions League. He suggests City's commercial income is inflated but the UAE deals are a dwindling element now of City's commercial income. You'd have thought the day after the Puma launch, they might have mentioned that but I guess that does not fit their perspective.

If they're still reporting this, the Criminals must be on holiday over there as there mustn't be much to talk about.

The title, opening statement and the line's

'after edging an incredible battle with Liverpool, who consoled themselves with the little matter of the most sought-after trophy in club football, the Champions League.
It is also the one trophy that has eluded Pep Guardiola since taking over at the Etihad Stadium three years ago.

are enough to tell you all you need to know, which slant the article is taking.

But it's just a re-hash of old news and just letting their rank and file 'Orcs' know that their 'great eye' is ever watchful, beyond Anfields 'Black Gate' and is bending all of it's might and will towards the downfall and elimination of all that is good over the Blue Sky of Manchester.

However, their 'precious' prize remains elusive to them and has made the Etihad Stadium it's home.

So, despite some dark days, the greatest battles were won out and the trophy stayed at it's rightful place.

Long may goodness prevail against the forces of evil and darkness to the West.

And welcome to Rodri and Angelino

Not forgetting how the dippers contributed to the human rights abuse hellhole that is Dubai by going twice on warm weather training last season after surrendering their chance to win the FA cup in order to go for the premier league..... ah well !!!

Let's wait and see if Arsenal get brought up before UEFA for breaking FFP rules. If all this is true about their spending. I very much doubt it. It will be another jibe the gunners fans will throw our away, because they are just plainly jealous of us. How many trophies have they won in the last 5yrs or so can't think of 1 that they have won.

Three FA Cups aside they’ve won fuck all.

I read they first signed a deal with Emirates in 2004, maybe that was for shirt only until the stadium deal came through in 2006. Similar to what we did with did with Etihad in 2011(shirt deal since 2009?).

That's 4 or 5 more years than City they've been taking "oil money" from the UAE.

I think the angle we should go with is, Liverpool are an "Iranian blood money" club, it's what they would do.

Funny what a difference 24 hours makes, i was concerned about a transfer ban coming our way but with Angelino and Rhodri coming in i think we are set.

True, yet when I first saw Mangala, I was impressed, not longer afterwards though, I wasn't.
100% agree. That debut vs Chelsea though I thought wow we've got a monster talent on our hands. Now I'm thinking on the levels of Monster's inc talent

Just laugh at the oil money jibes. It’s a little popular catchphrase the jealous bellends have latched on to

After all what is wrong with oil? It drives the world economy and 99% of the pricks who throw this about use it day in day out and couldn’t live without it

Short memories, wasn't that long ago that thousands of dipper human rights activists marched to anfield demanding yanks out and Dubai in.

Dippercrites.

You will have a long wait. FFP was designed so that clubs like this cannot fail it. Thought you knew this by now.
