My theory. All parties informed of the result on the 10th, both parties under embargo. Someone at City has leaked the result to Cheesy, Cheesy tweeted out.

I don't think someone leaked it to Ian. I think he just heard a rumour and posted it. That seems to be what @tolmie's hairdoo has intimated.

I knew someone that was related to somebody quite high up in the club, but I never knew until about a month before the person left. So could’ve been itk for years turned out to be 4 weeks.
