I was told it was either ban 2 years or all clear no charge - CAS could not reduce charge as all or nothing?

Nothing about it made me nervous. If anything, it calmed me even more. Plenty there to be positive about, along with every single thing he has said in the last 10-14 days. All about context, don't take snippets in isolation to look for negatives. We've got this!

Do you think he definitely knows the result? It is the “it happened a long time ago and a lot of those people are no longer here” that worries me a bit. Maybe I’m looking too hard under the microscope.

We have appealed the verdict so CAS are ruling on our appeal. Appeal upheld is good. Appeal dismissed very very bad.

Doubt City take this verdict to appeal if it goes against us as that would only look at whether CAS procedurally and legally made a sound decision it wouldn't review the evidence again. Unlikely we do that unless we felt our irrefutable evidence had been inadequately assessed and CAS had not followed their procedures correctly.

Slept well here in St Petersburg, Russia. Been in my study for the last hour and a half as I'm supposedly working from home these days, but despite a fairly extensive list of things to do, the work isn't getting a look in. Thankfully none of it's urgent and I should make it up fairly easily later on. Nervous, though, and time seems to be passing really slowly.

I'm really hoping City release their statement on the club website a few minutes before 9.30. I'll keep checking that, you guys have got the CAS website covered.
