Some of the leaked emails tho really look bad on us. Even if they are out of context the text shows us in very bad colour. There are a couple of them under this link but adblocker is working so bit tricky to see them:
http://www.spiegel.de/fotostrecke/f...y-und-die-sponsoren-fotostrecke-167278-9.html

One of them saying the Etihad sponsorship is only 8m directly from Etihad rest is ADUG money.

Jorge Chumillas and Simon Pearce mostly in these emails, but most of them were sent to Soriano, some of them to Khaldoon.

Another asking Simon Pearce that incoming money to be routed trough partners Etihad and Etisalat not other sources so auditors can see its coming in the the right channels.

Looks like we had lot of cash but we had to play around with the UAE sponsors to make it like they give it to us. But when we needed more here and there then they gave more. Looks totally shady if these emails are correct.

Yes but if this info is from stolen documents (hacked) then UEFA doesnt have a leg to stand on. You'll more than likely get away with a fine and it will all blow over.

The press allegations, lies and general witch-hunt against us will never stop until our conduct in regards to FFP is officially investigated and closed by UEFA and City as a club have categorically proven the allegations false.

I have a theory that the club has purposely ‘leaked fake emails’ to the press, playing on their agenda against us, knowing full well they would force UEFA into conducting an official investigation. This gives us the perfect opportunity to end the allegations that we’re subjected to once and for all, it proves the press are happy to report false information without proof or verification, it also proves UEFA are swayed by that false unverified information published by an agenda led media. Hence the very strong legal wording and context of the official club statement tonight.

The only way the clubs confidential emails are available to anyone is through human error, even so I am led to believe that each and every business that the club deals with are forced into full inbound and outbound email encryption, complete with confidentiality contracts for any breach. Even opening an encrypted email from the club requires a strong password, obviously not the customer facing ones before anyone pipes up. The software is penetration tested beyond belief by staff/ethical hackers all over the world, so any vulnerabilities will be quickly closed off.
You think?
I think we were as lax as a lax thing.

Who’s to say these emails have not been tampered with ?, isn’t that part of the argument, in that these emails have been obtained illegally and any thing could have been done to them either altered or edited to suit a particular message ? As City are saying...illegally obtained and out of context

You don't do irony either.....

.....oh and a transfer ban is not in their jurisdiction anyway.
No, I got it. Hence my "ha ha".
But in all seriousness this is nothing to worry about. If it was United I'd just laugh it off.
The suits at UEFA are powerless to do anything but have to pretend they're doing something. It's just a game of charades to appease the clubs who have been upset by PSG and City's arrival on their stomping ground.
