Like I said I don't know for certain, but we follow the club, and I get the feeling everything at City is done above board, we're all sick of this but we must all turn up for Schalke and get behind the team. Some comments saying I won't give uefa a penny and not going to games hurts City and the team, let's get behind the team and show these bent bastards.

I’ll be there - have been for decades. I also believe we’ve been targeted for all the reasons already mentioned on here - the big clubs that bring in the money for UEFA are worried about us. Our fans don’t support the team or UEFA like other fans (quite rightly) but UEFA don’t like our attitude

On the eve of an important League weekend & just b 4 the knockout game next week.

If I'm honest where there's money there's crime & both City & UEFA have been caught with there pants down.

I can see UEFA making these noises now & doing absolutely fuck all.

If anything it will be another fine & 12 month transfer ban

This will be completed in 3 months allowing City to appeal then smash the transfer market throwing 2 fingers at everyone.

I just can't see UEFA taking City on in court as to much baggage on both sides.

Can they throw City out of Europe????

Don't see this happening.

If I'm honest I would love to see our owner fuck them over but can only see us meeting them halfway.

If Something is going to happen & City will be ready with or without the ban.

Let's see what comes out of City.
Blimey you’re saying we plead guilty to something that we might not be guilty of? We need to take them on and the club by their statement seem confident. We do not want a transfer ban it looks bad and the very best players will not come here.

We sound very confident. If we were given a transfer ban we would just appeal it, and we would have the summer to get a few new players. Our squad is so good, with a mix of young and more experienced players, that we could actually cope with a transfer ban for 2 windows.

I couldnt give a fuck anymore, the ****s and their bent competition bore me to death.

Football is riddled with corruption and yet the targets for their sanction are very carefully chosen.....

Get to fuck.

Yup. I have no doubt that actual evidence will be at a premium and regarded as almost academic by UEFA anyway, because they intend to ban us come what may. The last 4 months have just been about them looking at the most morally credible justification they can come up with for it.
And to be honest I don’t think I could give a fuck anymore. The competition, as we saw when we were handed Lahoz and as we saw again in Paris last night, is as bent as a nine bob note. I’d also expect the ban to be sufficiently lengthy as to “encourage” our best players to leave. City will need to go to Court, but whilst we all know that FFP is bullshit protectionism, there is no guarantee the law will see it that way as well. I was amazed about 3 months ago when Pep said our owners had assured him we would not be banned, as I wouldn’t rate that call at anymore than about 50:50. UEFA is a dog and the G14 are the tail which wag it. There’s no point in them banning us for a season or two, because we will just come back stronger and more savvy. The blow they will wish to deal us will need to be fatal. These are absolute cnuts we’re dealing with and they’ve never been anything but cnuts. Batten down the hatches, game on!

I've read a couple of your replies now, and I haven't the foggiest what you are going on about, but this makes no sense whatsoever.

Football fans round the world want to watch the best football, and we play it, so we probably bring in as much money as any of the cartel clubs, particularly in relation to advertising, their main income source.

You don't seem to know the difference between FFP, and transfers, but there is an ocean of difference.

This feels like a fairly important moment in the club's history.

We had our first run in with UEFA and took their slap on the wrist and let them have their PR victory, and everyone moved on, seemingly happy to live in the state of "you're not really doing what we want, but you're not challenging us either".

Now it's reared it's head again I feel the club need to either take on UEFA & FFP or accept it and fall in line. There needs to be a resolution one way or the other.

Any kind of behind the scenes deals, taking little punishments in public and then trying every trick in the book to get around FFP without breaking it (which seems to be the MO for the last 5 years) isn't going to work anymore IMO.

David Gill on the UEFA committee .
Big win for the rags last night.
24 hours later this story hits the headlines.
Fuck. Right. Off.

Lol.

I'm sure David Gill was just holding back this announcement until United had a big win in Europe...
