To be fair though PB you were extremely confident last time, when we still ended up with a huge fine and squad limitations - what makes you confident this time will be different? And btw I am not having a pop, your knowledge on these matters is top notch. You can tell I am not having a pop, I haven’t used rude words
I wasn't aware of the rule change until Khaldoon mentioned in the club statement that there'd been a disagreement over the treatment of pre-June 2010 wages. I then went back and re-examined the FFP toolkit and found the change, which had a small but critical effect on our position.

The very next email could have been 'Apologies, I meant to type ADEC, not ADUG'
Without getting into any legalities at all, this is what I've always thought. One e-mail says nothing. You need a complete e-mail trail and even that is not enough.
The audited accounts will speak for themselves.
If as PB is implying, that is the full amount of evidence they have or are considering then it beggars belief how this got past the AC.
And if this turns out to be true, then what next for UEFA/FFP. They have to deal with the fallout. If not City have to pursue it.

Is there any chance we can sue uefa and also certain publications in particular der spiegel for many millions in regards to damage to the club and if so what kind of figures are we looking at? Would be delicious to see £50m added to our coffers in terms of beating ffp!

Don't forget UEFA would also owe us the £10m they took from us the last time.

The Guardian are making Pinto out as some sort of heroic whistleblower and ignoring the fact he was caught in a sting after demanding blackmail payments!

We have common cause with Pinto's People it seems

I'm told there were 5 charges laid against us. I'm not our legal representative but everything suggests 3 or 4 of those will fall quite easily. We've still got the charge of failure to co-operate but we felt that with UEFA acting on the thinnest of evidence, we had no need to. Why should we willingly co-operate in something designed to hurt us? I'm sure we had good legal grounds not to.
Why co-operate with a kangaroo court whose sole purpose is to find you guilty.

I wouldn't disagree with what you say, I'd also say what a huge amount of info yet the fingeronly gets pointed at us. The article brings up other investigations regarding money launder which is " news " to me!

There would be poetic justice in a huge story about them hitting the headlines the day after they win the match that confirms them league winners this season.
You honestly think anything negative about that shit stain of a club would be headlines? Will all be swept under the big old rug.

PB explained that while we didn't admit guilt in 2014, it was more prudent and less time consuming to accept a.minimal chastisement and move on. That's why the chairman referred to it as a "pinch".
The fact that these charges are being brought up again indicates that they're trying to use us as a piggy bank who'll be compliant or risk the wrath of the public. People have made their minds up about us already and no amount of exoneration in any court,(kangaroo or otherwise) will alter the narrative.
I suspect the message from City now is, " throw as much shit as you want at us but we're not paying you for the privilege".
Sounds very much like a protection racket.

Looks like there is still a mountain of "info" still to come....

I've never seen this bit before:-

Meanwhile, the offices of the Albania-born agent Fali Ramadani – whose Lian Sports company represents Real Madrid’s Luka Jovic, City’s Leroy Sané and Napoli’s Kalidou Koulibaly among several other high-profile clients – were searched by tax authorities in Mallorca last week in connection with a €100m money-laundering investigation.

I wonder if that's why Sane changed his agent?

Do we have it here, an admission from the Der Spiegel journalist to The Guardian...Uefa only have the Der Spiegel articles and only opened an investigation on the email excerpts they published?

There’s a clear correlation between the publication of our article and the investigation,” adds Winterbach. “Three weeks later, they wrote the first letter to City asking about our revelations and they started the formal investigation when we published another piece online which showed excerpts from the emails. I don’t think that would have happened without Rui’s evidence.”

Take care of yourself PB. This I imagine could be quite draining.
