Its all crap and sickening - Football has gone. This wont stop at UEFA, wont be long before the FA & premier League try something which I am hoping they won't unless City are guilty of all charges. Takes me back to some of the films we watch - you know the ones that have a secret organisation sitting at the top trying to control the world, we're just missing the fucking super heroes, same can be said for politics or maybe its all linked.

I think if they move to a closed shop situation just to satisfy G14 - there may (hopefully) be a shift in TV revenue bids. Money is going to be tight for Sky & BT. Imagine if those teams are not winning their local leagues or even have the best players in the world playing. Do Sky & BT want to throw all their money at that product. Hopefully Abu Dhabi, Saudi or Russia start creating their own mini leagues where the pay pot is triple UEFA prizes.

This is shit or bust time for UEFA/FIFA and the like. Carry on being manipulated or face ruin - I for one believe football is going to have shit loads of dirt plastered out in the next few years. There must be more than 1 hacker in the world with ability to hack and extract important shit.

Anyway I'll sink back into movie mode.

We only need to see how things snowballed for Saracens, so your fear is not that far-fetched.

The plotters have tried to damage our reputation and deligitimise but without an official mandate so far.

The success of our appeal has taken on an even greater significance imo and I am now really depressed and worried. We have to win at CAS .

Hang in there mate. The world is changing. Every empire crumbles in the end and what you are seeing here are the death-throes of the one created by the G14. The CAS hearing is really only a part of the story whether we win or not.

Thanks NN I sincerely hope you are right.

Uefa are scared that there position as controllers of European football could be under threat from middle East countries, so they are doing their best to consolidate their position. They are pulling all their allies into a cosy competition where hopefully they can all make money and ride out the storm from the East. Hopefully we have enough evidence that can blow this cosy cartel wide open once and for all and get back to enjoying European football.

Has any journos picked up this story yet?

One of the biggest changes European football in decades, surely anyone with a bit of credibility would love to write on this.

Probably wrong thread but just watched some clown on Sky Rodney Dixon saying the Saudis shouldn't be allowed to buy into Newcastle as even though they have not been convicted of anything there have been allegations.

To be fair you cant blame them what with so many things happening at the moment both on and off the field - multiple stories are breaking before they can even get a chance to write about them - its not like they are all sitting at home looking for something to write about ;)

Even if the Saudis did complete their take over of Newcastle United. They would not be able to spend like we did. All because of FFP would not allow them to get away with it.
