Yeah and linked to the scum who aren’t in the champs league and will be losing shit loads with no home games plus a massive debt to service! Oh they keep going on that the rags are loaded can spend shitloads if that’s so why they don’t pay more I Of there debt off? Instead it went up 70m!
Easily answered in one word: Glazers.

We should never concern ourselves with this player or that player leaving. Worst case scenario our 2 year ban stands and KDB, Bernardo and one or two others leave. We get top dollar for them relative to how the transfer market stands at that time so we can reinvest the money in younger up and coming players on 5 year contracts to make up for the lack of CL money. That's an advantage we never had when all this started.

And you don't need a team of superstars to win the league. Amongst all the talk of the money we spent, people forget we won the league in 2012 with the likes of Joe Hart, Micah Richards, Gael Clichy, Gareth Barry , Adam Johnson and James Milner. We had non-household names like Nigel de Jong and Edin Dzeko whilst David Silva, Aguero and Toure joined us notwithstanding no recent history of success.

I'd enjoy the ride with even more gusto now that I know, rather than suspect, what we're up against.
Well said. I like a bit of optimism.

I have not the slightest doubt that it’s absolutely to the extent many of us believe, and I hope the club is setting out its legal stall in the expectation that Gill, Henry, Rummenigge and the rest of the spiteful bastards will stop at nothing in their attempts to derail us.

I would hope the club have a clear view of the truth and have prepared accordingly.

TBH, it's all well down my list of concerns at the moment.

The modern elite level pro is a gun for hire who manages his career. Love of the club is not forefront in their thinking, tho', of course, they want to be at a club they enjoy. Kev just being honest.

He is being honest, but he also needs to be honest with himself, finances in football are in for a massive correction.

He's on £300k a week plus - there is not a club out there who could offer him a rise and the fee it would also require, certainly with three years left to run.

Same goes for likes me Sterling, Bernado and Eric.

He'll be going nowhere as ultimately £££'s will end up the important factor.

However, his comments aren't to say the least well timed. I always thought he was intelligent enough to not say stuff like this but, maybe I'm blinded by sky blue shirts.
I read it as saying if his employers are not telling him the truth he may consider his options.
Frankly I feel the same about our owners. I will start to doubt them and my loyalty to them if they are telling lies, whilst of course being ctid.

laporte seems happy enough though tolm? Sterling has never hidden a desire to get to Real Madrid also? Bernardo was a surprising one to be honest and the players shouldn’t really be commenting on the ban etc as it only adds fuel to the fire imo.

People just need to remind themselves when doubts are raised.

Who does that serve? What has coincided with all these attempts to hurt their good name and that of the club?

That's right, the temerity to be competing with the so-called elite for trophies.

Hold fast that which is good!

Not sure why it’s any surprise. Nobody signs or extends for City out of any great ambition to play for City. These are professionals at the top of their profession. They play for a team that can offer a chance to play at the top level , compete for the highest trophies, play for the very best coaches, and be very well rewarded. Like it or not that means champions league. Take that away for 2 years through no fault of their own of course they would all seriously consider their future especially those entering the last 4 or 5 seasons at the top level like KDB.It goes without saying so the fact he says it is just stating the obvious.
Besides a 2 year ban let alone any ban is highly unlikely so it’s all just idle gossip.

You are over thinking it. We won't be losing any player under a long-term contract.

A contract works two ways. When it has more than three years left to run, it works in the club's favour.

Sterling is about to sign a big deal with Puma, he's getting that as a direct result of being with City.

There's a reason City decided to hand longer term deals to likes or Raheem, Kev, Ederson, Jesus, Bernie and Laporte.

They have wanted to avoid a repeat of Sane situation.

City will not be losing this case.

I agree TH I will be the most surprised City supporter in the world if they can prove their accusations.

In other words I 100 percent back our owner version unless UEFA can prove otherwise rather than it seems City have to prove their innocence which I am also certain of.

Thanks S. for sharing your findings, it must be a difficult time for you and the family so please keep it coming if you can.

Thanks pal. I've got hurdles being thrown at me in all manner of directions, but everybody has their own bad hand and playing with it the best they can.

To all the card sharps out there, I salute you all.

@tolmie's hairdoo, I am sure the vast majority of Blumooners are behind you. You cannot get everything right, but we know you post in good faith. Keep it coming.

1 side of me thinks well hes having a bit of a moan maybe wanting more about FFP & Pep himself.

He has 3 years left & probably hanging a carrot for another pay rise.

He gets a new deal say £350.000 for the next 4 years then another big deal when 28 perhaps.

Let's be honest Naymar, Messi have done it e very 2-3 seasons.

Hes not daft & imo our next captain.

I think he wants assurances & knows Covid & lockdown has been tough & maybe feels somewhere in Europe is a better place right now?

Not many can afford him like you say but dont be fooled that there isnt a team like PSG, Real & Barca all looking to replace Naymar, Bale & Messi very soon so big wages are still out there

I hope talks start very soon, with Puma giving Sterling a big hike maybe that's the root to go with Kev??

Make both the new faces of PUMA not sure who Kev works with??

Just need this CAS hearing sorting once & for all..

Now football is looking at getting g back going slowly but surely these fucking wankers will start going scud missile at us to fuck us over with story after story

Our club needs to kick back & kick back hard, time to make these ****s suffer the fucking lot of them..

Sterlings PUMA deal may change his desire to move on.

We dont know the full sp do we??

I wouldnt be surprised if Tixi wasnt already thinking of giving ing Kev, Sterling, Laporte, Jesus, Mahrez & Bernardo new deals, not sure what they all have left?

3 years is long but start getting around 2 & it's more leaveridge for the players just luck what fucking Sane the ball bag is up 2.

3 years maybe 2 1/2 is time to talk.

I thought Tolm mentioned pre Covid & lockdown we were talking to both Sterling & Kev?

bugger off.

Sterlings PUMA deal may change his desire to move on.

the fact that Real Madrid fans get on their players backs after one bad performance should change his desire more mate!! Raz can often have 5 or 6 average games? The real fans won’t stand for that and will be booing him galore!
