The latter. I would suggest it’s unlikely that we’ll be signing anyone though, a) because we won’t know how to budget until we get a formal outcome, and b) cos I can’t imagine top players would want to commit to us until they know if we’re going to be in the CL or not
That's my thinking also, oh well we'll just have to think Laporte and Mendy are new signings and fingers crossed Leroy stays.

I expect a 1 year ban. Unfortunately, think that a 2 year ban is more likely than overturning the ban. Imo, 1-year ban wouldn't be a big problem for the club. Very much hope that the ban will be overturned though.

For all the reasons stated about a hundred times yesterday by posters, a 1 year ban would still be a guilty verdict with all the ramifications that verdict would then have in respect of lawsuits, compo claims, PL investigations and likely points deductions. Only complete exoneration helps us

I bet United fans are shitting it knowing it’s their best way of getting in the CL next season. Pretty embarrassing for them but to be expected considering the joke they are. I’ve heard they’ll lose millions in sponsorship, increase their debt and struggle to bring anyone in. Shame.

We will win the war the corrupt twats. Committed the crime went on red cafe they calling us like fuck. Fucking despise them Raggy fuckers.

Question to our Legal eagles on the board.
It's clear that the mood of this board is to say the least " untrusting " of the legal fraternity.
In all honesty do you believe the legal framework both specifically in this case and generally is satisfactory.
FWIW I have had poor experiences with the law and the settlement at the gates of the court situation I feel is used as a cop out.

Conversely...we are forever branded as cheats and for cooking the books, and they slide into the CL and earn OUR €100M next season. It doesn’t bear thinking about!

It will be tough to sign anyone before their verdict is announced.

That will be a right fucker, so we'll have to just watch everybody else strengthen this summer. Cheers UEFA you corrupt twats.

This was also discussed some time ago, the narrative that we all arrived at was that this would allow the other clubs to catch up to us in terms of signings - I am highly dubious that they have named August as the verdict date

Why would they have to deliberate so long ? And it is telling that it means we cannot plan a transfer window, Even if we get exonerated

Just another way to safeguard other clubs to strengthen - unless we just decide to go into the market anyway

Even if we win the time it will take to announce the verdict makes it difficult to sign players. Let’s just hope that the August date that Sky keep peddling isn’t correct and it only takes them a week or two to come to a decision.
