I broadly agree but I think he made a very good point that if we win UEFA will have some explaining to do to various parties. Namely those that have been putting pressure on them to punish us.
I think Ceferin will be privately pleased. It will get the Cartel off his back, damage his internal enemies within UEFA, and give him a free run to modernise the FFP rules and start cleaning up the organisation.
His recent interview with Gab Marcotti (on the ESPN website) shows he is a very clever operator. He made it clear he wants FFP altered to allow more external investment from clubs in a way which allows the game to develop. Moving forward City will be a key supporter of his policies. City winning at CAS will be a transformational moment.

Maybe, maybe not.

His links to Agnelli, can't be overlooked though.

And its Agnelli, who seems to be the mouthpiece of an expanded CL which they have got through.

Don't trust him one bit tbh.

What’s the betting, when our appeal is upheld, that their next target will be CFG and the number of European clubs under its umbrella...

Then again the Agnelli family has major business interests in Abu Dhabi. They have a controlling interest in Exor which owns the Ferrari brand (after it split away from Fiat). Khaldoon himself is Chairman of the huge Ferrari World theme park in Abu Dhabi. It's not clear if Agnelli is on our side or batting for the anti-Ceferin camp. Perhaps he's sitting on the fence till he sees the CAS result.
