The only other conclusion would be him being able to create distance between him and the club's executives.
Considering these people are his friends for life, I very much doubt that.
Just heard of a possible announcement at 6pm? Anymore people with the inside track heard this?
We're all sat here worrying sick about whether we get to play in a competition most of us can't stand. That's typical City
There would be a beautiful symmetry to that if true.
Exactly my sentiments.Think it’s more to do with the 200m loss in revenue and possible players leaving and us falling way back into the pack while the scum and the scousers move miles ahead of us for the next 3/5 years.
Champs league is corrupt bag of shit.

I like it, loads of the posters that say it's corrupt, say the same about the P/L and still enjoy that, I enjoy both myself, despite both having issues. While most of us don’t like the CL it is important to the club and players a like so like it or not the result of this will have huge implications.

Not to mention our rep and shouts of 'cheat', plus our belief in our execs. So much more than a poxy cup at stake.Think it’s more to do with the 200m loss in revenue and possible players leaving and us falling way back into the pack while the scum and the scousers move miles ahead of us for the next 3/5 years.

This is an interesting article in the Independent today, basically UEFA appear to be saying their evidence and reason for the ban is based on documentation provided by City, not the hacked emails.

......Come Monday, if that result is a negative one, he looks like an idiot having said this

He wrote most of that article last month! Still going on with the ‘it’ll be a disaster for EUFA if City win’ line. It’s almost like he’s a Liverpool fan continually writing what he hopes to be true. Odd that him and DeLoony work for the same rag. This is an interesting article in the Independent today, basically UEFA appear to be saying their evidence and reason for the ban is based on documentation provided by City, not the hacked emails.

This has always been Tony Evans line and always contrary to what others have said. I've no doubt he's been told that by his source at UEFA but it seems very unlikely that it was not from the leaked material

You never know with these things. Unless it's coming directly from the horse's mouth, I always adopt the journalistic approach of getting a second, independent corroboration.
