What's with this Fernandesh
It’s only like us saying “Fernandeenyo” instead of how we’d think it would be said English-phonetically as “Fernan-din-ho”.

Why would we say it correctly for some names and not others?

Although we have a tendency to get mixed up in this country. Take Bayern Munich, for example. Bayern means Bavaria in German but Munich is the English word for München. We should either be calling them Bavaria Munich or Bayern München, not the mix of German and English like we do with Bayern Munich.
