i take it they do mean the single smoke bomb, and not the pointless explosions when the teams came out? (Really, is it a good idea to have deliberate explosions at a match these days (against a team from Paris)? Seeing them wheeling off the little machines you'd have to say it was a lot of effort for little effect)

Not a fan of the munufactured atmoshphere myself. But not for the somewhat hypersensitive reasons you are.

I have heard a rumour from an excellent source that UEFA are also going to charge us for not all wearing the same colour boots. If found guilty (and there is TV evidence) we may be thrown out of the CL and banned for five years from all European competition. UEFA will also lobby the Premier to demote us to the Conference.

It gets worse. When the cameras went to the team as they lined up not ONE single player was smiling.

Be quiet UEFA haven't picked up that one although I am now led to believe that UEFA were unhappy with a couple of hairstyles on show and may start proceedings against us
