There are also some flicks at the bottom of the posting, showing the next day at the affected area.

This is certainly worth a glance anyway and some of the best footage i have seen in a while.

You've heard of Aeroplanes, right? It travelled at the same speed as an aeroplane would. It's lights were flashing, like an aeroplane's would. It's seemingly travelling east to west, after looking at the next day's footage which shows the sun in the middle of the shot, so could be heading towards Chicago, Detroit, Cincinnati or Indianapolis... This is hardly in the middle of nowhere! Just a thought.

As for the optical "orb" effect... Night vision will accentuate a bright light source so causing the interference effect that you can see. You get the same with a telescope or binoculars pointed at a star or very bright source at night, but it doesn't mean it actually looks like that. Just an optical effect because the image can't resolve.

The laser beam could be from someone shining a laser "pen" at a plane that's reflecting off the fuselage or windows. Apparently there have been about 200 cases of this reported in this country alone this year... http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/england/8187503.stm

Make your own mind up... But at least look at all the evidence first eh?

The laser pen argument is flawed in the extreme. You would need unerringly accurate hands to keep the constant line of the plane in order to get the straight 'beam' effect. I mean, how much practice would that take? Not to mention waiting for the next arrival if it all goes wrong!

You fail to even mention the constant pulsing coming from the 'orb' that is the same as the 'laser pen'. Are you suggesting the light source(which would be different) somehow emits the same pulse strength to the laser pen light? I know light travels, but that summation is ridiculous.

You also, conveniently ignore the light source at the top the trees. It's easy to fashion in answers to your post to suit, but when you ignore some facts to tailor an answer, I have to discredit the answer given.

I remember back in 97/98 me and my mate were going to Glossop to watch a band and we saw a triangular shape hover in the sky for about 2 minutes. We sat and watched it. It had 3 lights at each corner of the triangle and then it shot up into the sky at a speed i cant describe.

Got back home and told my dad, who is very sceptical, and he said "Why the fuck would aliens want to visit Glossop".

I know what i saw that night.

Great point and well made Bigga, its the pulsing of the object thats amazing and imo defo no plane.

And one for the road, my favourite. Checkout the dog barking at the object, mad as.

Aircraft have lots of lights on them, especially when coming in to land. http://www.aerospaceweb.org/question/el ... 0263.shtml

Also the brightness of the flashing lights would accentuate the laser beam, if that's what it is, by illuminating the beam. Remember this is through night vision, so it doesn't see colour, just intensity. You would need to look at a plane through them to really know how they see things, real things, before coming up with such fantastical "explanations" first.

I'd love there to be E.T.'s, imagine what we'd learn! Imagine what the possibilities might be for us.... But presenting stuff like this as evidence without any other standard to compare it to, is laughable.

Now she's filmed a UFO, tell her to go and film an actual plane so we can see the difference... Or similarity.

But that wouldn't be such a great story, just better science, and that's dull isn't it!

But after an exhaustive (30 secs) search on Youtube I found this... For comparison.

pm'ed you mate.

Having spend a not inconsiderable amount of time on NVG I can assure you the first is an aircraft not a UFO. later in the thread there are satellites and a flare.

I really cant believe people still think we get visited by UFOs full of aliens.

Hello 1.618034, cheers for the input. Mate, that completely looks like a plane and nothing like the object in my OP. Just a few questions if i may? do yo believe that we have been to the moon and if so, how often? also what do you make of the Istanbul footage that i posted? And lastly, do you believe that we have indeed made contact either recently or in the last couple of centuries? Cheers pal.

That's fake. Done as part of an ad campaign. There's a "making of" on youtube somewhere.

The night vision one looks like a plane. The beam is odd tho.
