Agree with all that, but there is also the fact we have been scanning the universe for 30, 40 years and we only have scratched the surface but we are yet to pick up any signs of radio waves or transmissions or any sign of advanced life at all. There is a possibility that while we may not be the only life we are a complete fluke and the most advanced life.

I`m sure if there are Aliens on another world and they`re receiving radio signals from Earth maybe even Talksport, the likelihood they think we are an intelligent race is slim if next to zero.

I've just read an article that said the first intended transmission from Earth to a constellation, the Arecibo message, has travelled 250 trillion miles and is still only a fraction away from its destination.

The mind boggles.

1936 Olympics is supposed to be the first transmission powerful enough to reach the stars. That's still only 80lys - 40 if you're expecting a reply.
