The teacher in Batley is basically the exact same situation. A bunch of ignorant bigots being whipped up by 'community leaders' who stand to benefit personally from their hatred, and a grassroots protest that mysteriously includes a hell of a lot of people who didn't have kids in the school. I don't know about the Huddersfield case, and a quick Google came up with nothing.

You see Islamism is basically the far right of Islam, so it's not surprising to see a lot of the same bullshit. For example, the original Danish cartoon protests included plenty of people who were offended by the cartoons. What was less reported was that they were deliberately spread around the Islamic world by radical preachers, mixed in with far more offensive pictures, using deliberate misinformation to rile people up. Very similar to what happens on far right social media accounts in this country.

Banning people for actions completely unrelated to attending football matches? I can’t see how clubs could reasonably enforce this without being accused of discrimination, ironically enough, other than to make everyone wishing to attend a match subject to a criminal records check.
