Well it stopped Hitler for a start.

It did and there’s much to be proud of looking back over the years.
There’s also plenty to be ashamed of and recent years has seen the rise of a far right faction which ironically would probably have agreed with Hitler back in the day and seem hellbent on taking the country backwards.
That said, the U.K. is far from alone in that regard.
We’ve gotta do better, not learning from past mistakes is shameful.

Somebody mentioned it the other day, and it rings true; social media is dramatically under-regulated. For all intents and purposes, it's a lawless battleground where people can say what they want and face zero repercussions; in the name of upholding free speech, of course.
